Q:
I have had sex with my girlfriend and I was just wondering if
"pre-cum" carries sperm...is it true it can only carry sperm out if it
is in the urethra? What if the urethra is clean?
A:
Studies show that pre-ejaculate (pre-cum) does carry sperm that can cause a
pregnancy. The amount of sperm in pre-ejaculate is far less than what you're
typical ejaculation would carry--however there is still plenty to cause
pregnancy or spread an STD. Condoms are going to be your best form of protection
if you're concerned about any STD's as well as pregnancy and your girlfriend may
want to consider using a birth control method, if she' not already. Sperm
travel from the testicles, where they are produced, to the epididymis--the
holding tank for a few weeks, from there the vas deferens take them to the
urethra...while passing by the seminal vesicles-which produce fluids also known
as semen to keep the sperm healthy and help them travel on out the the urethra
to wherever destination they may be heading. By clean...do you mean that
you've recently ejaculated? Well, pre-cum helps coat the urethra to allow
the sperm to move, if there are sperm in the urethra from a previous
ejaculation, it is possible for pre-cum to push them on through before his next
ejaculation. Hope that helps you out.
Q:
Why does my husband cum so fast during sex and why does his sperm smell bad?
A:
This is common in many men, there are methods to help prolong stimulation before
he ejaculates, like the "start-stop" method. A little further
research can help you out with that. As far as his sperm having an odor,
do you mean his semen, which contains sperm? Many people have natural
odors, if you think it is an abnormal smell he may have an infection or an
STD--if you are concerned suggest for him to visit his doctor or local clinic.
